Day trips/ weekend fall trips in Wisconsin

I know most are thinking about heading south. I still need to work. Any nice fall trips in WI or UP of MI, maybe MN? Leaving from Green Bay, up to 6 hours no problem.

Any fall festivals, colors to see, music or food type things to take my wife and get the bus out a few more times this fall?

Door County would be a hop, skip and a jump for you. Very pretty.

Pic 1: Willow River State Park near Hudson Wisconsin has room for big rigs and has a beautiful waterfall. There is easy access to the twin cities; it's only 20 minutes to St Paul, 30 minutes to the Mall of America.

Pic 2 & 3: We recently stayed at the Nelson Landing RV Park in Nelson Wi which is a Mississippi river town. There are fun small towns and beautiful hill/cliff country to explore. FHU park with nice level lots.

Search Octoberfest WI. I just did and there are some I may attend.

Copper Harbor would be great for colors.

In my area I would recommend: https://skyhighcampingresort.com/ .
They are Passport America on week days. One of the few places I have been to that look better than their pictures. Thirty minutes or less to: Madison, Baraboo, Portage, Dells, Devil’s Lake SP, Cascade Ski Resort, Mid-Continent Railway Museum.

I ended up there the first week of construction on my neighbor’s house.

Thanks for the suggestions! We have been in Door County 5 times already and likely will again this year. Just wondering if there was anything I must see type of thing.
