Daytona, I would go on up to Flagler and stay at Beverly Beach Camptown. A little expensive but wake up, get coffee and watch waves roll in, right through the windshield.

Been to Savannah twice, stayed at Skidaway Island State Park both times. Great place to camp, nice sized sites in a pretty state park. You can hop on the Truman Expressway and be downtown in just a few minutes.

Stayed in Daytona KOA twice. It's convenient to I95 but not near the beach.

But have to agree with the Wizard that Beverly Beach is really nice. Also great bakery in town.

Not Daytona but Hanna Park just up the road in Jacksonville is nice.

Hanna Park

We have stayed at Skidaway Island and Fort McAllister in the Savanna the area and both are great, Fort McAllister is a little closer to 95.

We go to the Savannah area about twice a year and have stayed at Skidaway and Fort Mcallister are both are excellent. Our favorite though is to stay on hilton Head Island at Hilton Head Harbour RV Park. It's an easy drive to Savannah and Hilton Head is a fabulous place.
