What route are you planning to take and how long are you planning to stay in Death Valley? The town of Beatty, NV just west of Death Valley has a paved lot at the corner of Main and 2nd St just for overnighting RVers to park.

Mesquite campground, within Death Valley is where I usually stay. Its about 1 1/2 miles or so south of Scottys Castle. No boon docking allowed in Death Valley.

Panamint springs is nice, on the west end of DV. You can boondock in panamint valley. Stove pipe wells is fairly cheap, but looks like a big dirt parking lot. Ballarat is $5 a night, no hookups and you can see Tex Watsons truck.
