If Crosss Creek is the one that I'm thinking of, it has been several years since I was there. I reemeber several pull thru sites and the park itself was nice. They also had a nice ppool. It is close to Alum Creek which is a nice lake. The thing that sticks out in my mind was the lousy bathhouse!! Very small, dirty and you had to pay to take a shower. Now that might have changed since I was there and also it may not make any difference to you. How is it rated now? I dont think it is too far from I71, but dont have exact miles.

We stayed there last yr. It's a nice CG. Lovely landscaping. About a dozen pull throughs. Lots of full h/u's. Clean, but small showerhouse/restrooms & pool. They musta redecorated it since you were there, Mike. They are under new management. It looked recently painted - although they could use another since there's only 1 for an entire CG of over 100 sites. They were clearing trees & brush at the back of the CG so maybe they're expanding. I don't remember seeing if the showers required money. Playground. Snack bar. Campstore. Lots of organized activities throughout the season. The lots are level, nice sized & some even have cement table pads (those go quickly if not already scarffed up by the seasonals). They take reservations, but not for specific sites. When you get there, the owners take you around on a golf cart & you pick your spot. Very easy access to I-71. That exit has a bunch of fast food restaurants & a Cracker Barrel. Alum Creek state park is across the street with a nice large beach & grassy area, a marina along with all the other stuff you can do at a state park.
I do think CC's rates are on the high side (I think close to $35/nite for full h/u), but I would stay there again. I'd give it an 8.5 outta 10.

There is great need for a sarcasm font.
