Deming NM RV Parks ????

Hi !!! Hope I'm not posting this in an inappropriate place. Seems whenever I get on here, I get a message that I've put something in the wrong place..... I didn't find a more appropriate thread to ask my question, so here goes.......
We are going to be in Deming the first week of April for about a week. I've been online looking at their RV Parks and reading reviews. Appears to me, it's a toss-up between Hidden Valley Park and 81 Palms.
ANY information or advice offered will be so appreciated!!!!!! Thank you!!
(we are in a fifth wheel)

Hi dbandpj,
I asked the moderators to move this thread to the Camping Locations Forum. Those with considerable knowledge of Campgrounds hang out in that forum to share their knowledge.

On the iRV2 main page, scroll down to just before the Owners Corner. There you will find forums on Camping Locations, etc.

We've done a couple of over-nighters at 81 Palms. While a tad on the pricey side ($30ish), it's a VERY nice park with rock-solid electric, good water pressure and nice sized RV spots. Lots of space to roam around with the pups too (if you're so equipped). If Deming is where we plan to be at the end of the day, it's where we'll continue to stay.

They have really good monthly rates if you plan to stay that long.

Another comment on Hidden Valley, not only is is waaaay out of town, the road to it is gravel and VERY dusty. We made the mistake of going there once, never again. The separation between the campsites is all cactus!

A very nice little place in Deming is called "LITTLE VINEYARD" RV park. It's close to Walmart also!

If I was staying around Demming I would go to the City of Rocks State Park it is 25mi. n. of Demming and has sites with hookups and very peaceful and quiet.

We just stayed in Rock Hound State Park about 7 miles south of Demming. Normally we stay in full service RV Parks but decided to try it after several recommendations. Only has water and 30 amp [Dump site]. But it was great, an incredible view and great trails, sunset was outstanding. We will stay there again. We had wifi on our TMobile stick so life was good. Call before you go it is a very popular park. If you are going south beyond Tucson you should try Karchner State park and caverns {$25/night} this is a 9 out of 10 experience in our opinion.

Just what Matchayan said. Rockhound state park is great. Very popular so a reservation is recommended. Karchner Kaverns is also a great spot and popular too. I'll be spending more time in each for the next few winters.

Thank you everyone!!!

Thank you all so much for the responses!!!!! We are currently in Benson at Butterfield RV Park & Observatory. VERY nice, clean park VERY. Great amenities and reasonably priced too. The Observatory nightly show is amazing. I think we'll be here til April 9 so will try and get reservations at the park near Deming. THANK YOU!!!!
