Any advice about things to do in Grand Lake are welcome too!!! Looking forward to it!

Some people talk about Berthoud Pass -
- but it is only an issue in the Snow.
The rest of the drive is fine - Trail Ridge is fine - but if Berthoud Pass is an issue just stay on I-70 to Silverthorne and take RT 9 to Kremmling.
Both routes are fine in your rig, might suggest going in on one and back out on the other - then you will be able to help people when they ask the question, the only issue with Berthoud Pass is Snow and even then it is well plowed, just not where I like to be In My Rig
.
When you get to Grand Lake just ask the Locals for Guidance - everyone has a favorite ride or hike they love to share.
Best of Luck,
