I've stayed at St Rosa Sound. Very nice on the water sites. Sites near the road, you will hear traffic. Great restaurant down the street, on the left passed the bridge. Don't remember the name. Have reservations at Destin West in April.

We stayed at Fort Pickens, on Santa Rosa island. COE half price for old geezers. Short drive to the beach, and the fort. Free fishing pier too. Lot to see and do around Pensacola.

Ask for the water front corner site (site 24). It's a pull in site and you'll have water out your windshield and right in front of you when sitting under your awning (St Rosa). The other water front sites are all back in and a bit narrow, with the exception of site 23.
We toured through Destin West and it had some nice water front sites, on the intercostal.

I am booked for 7 days on the beach spot 808. When making the reservations on line they said it does have 50amp power and water but to bring an extension cord for the power cable. There was no information on how long it should be. Did you need an extension cord if so how long. Thanks
