Dick,
The Guide really does just sort of lay the entire state out - makes planning so easy when you know so much before you get there - the video is just Eye Candy,..... Pretty good Candy
I continue to try to locate a list of the Small Town Campground's we used as we drove out and back a couple times this last Summer. Across the Fly Over States we were able to "Discover a number of these Great Small Town Parks - FHU's often in town and on a lake that had been used often as a RR water source in the Steam Engine days.
Most were easy in easy out - $20.00 a night or Free - Quiet - Safe - and the other campers were real Campers, fun to talk with - many on their way back to Texas, or other points South.
It would be nice if these little Gem's were as easy to locate as Wal*Mart. - - BUT that would fill them up and make them hard to get into for those of us who seldom make reservations. -
Glad you enjoyed it,

Love the video Busskipper. We were able to finally explore southern Co this summer. In August our daughter got married at the Lower Blue Lakes in the San Juan Mountains. Our camper even got to experience freezing temps with the early snow fall in Clear Creek, Co. I would love to explore more in July to see the beautiful wildflowers.

The rats are fleeing the cities (NYC in particular) and bringing their dumb ideas with them. CO is luckier than FL...OH wait, CA is not that far away from CO.

Luckily - Cali residents that have moved to Colorado have normally centered in and around Denver (Many have made the Move) - and regretfully it looks and has evolved into some/many of the similar issues. (Sadly)
Not to be political - Colorado still has so much that is still The Colorado we Love, add to that Utah and Wyoming are so Close, and both have a wealth of Wild and Beautiful areas - seriously the Wild areas are still available to explore - the Guide just makes its a little easier to decide where to Go next.
Interesting - we had a son graduate from college n Cali - and we have not returned in the RV since, just not the same place I spent much of my childhood.
Sadly we Have not returned to Florida since 2007 as it is just filling/changing also.
Interestingly enough, and Thankfully - the Country is still filled with so many Wild and Beautiful areas I need to Explore.
Texas may be the next haven for those from Cali.
So much to see - Never enough time.
