Disney Fort Wilderness

I see where Disney is indicating a 3:00 checkin at Fort Wilderness. Do any of you know if they will let folks check in earlier? Thanks

They let us check in early, but wouldn't let us go to site, said is wasn't ready. There is a waiting area (parking lot), then we waited till they called my cell and said the site was ready.

You can check-in at 6:00 AM and they will text you when your site is ready. Sometimes it will be very early but other times you could wait all day. As Bill 3rd said there is a parking area for waiting. If you don't have any pets with you, you can leave your RV and go to the parks or exploring....

Sitting in the 500 loop right now .
When we checked in 4 days ago it was 12 noon and they sent us right to our site.
As others pointed out you can also be told site isn’t ready but they will text when it is, very large lot to wait in .
We are here 3 times a year and our travel habits generally get us here between 12 noon and 1:00 pm . Only once have we had to wait and when we did we had lunch in the rig , unhooked the car and the site was ready.

Every time I got there I checked in and went to my site.
Always before 3pm. More like noon. We stay the night before at the Daytona Encore. Get up and get there by noon.

My wife and I have been going yearly for the last 30 some years (Disney Vacation Club owners). Every room, cabin and campsite has a 3 PM check-in. As they have an 11 AM checkout. However your actual check in time will depend on when the previous guest left. So if there was no one on your site yesterday you can pretty much check in whenever you get there. And of course if they arenít doing work or cleaning on the site. Last time we got there at 8PM...time before that at 9AM. Never had to wait.
