Elkhart, IN Trip

I will be having Disc Brakes & Independent Suspension installed on my Montana on June 20 & 21, 2018. Looking for recommendations on nice campground to stay a couple of days before and after install close to MORryde Industries. Thanks in advance for your consideration.

If no events going on stay at the fair grounds, they have large rally's there. Lots of hook ups and close to all in the area.

Can't help with campgrounds as we stayed at the Dynamax factory for 4 nights while coach was worked on. However do try to stop into the Motor Home Hall of Fame there for a couple of hours. Some interesting old rigs.

We usually stay at Shipshewana South Campground. It's a little ways from Elkhart, but easy to get to from there. It's a nice campground.

Iíll second the choice of Shipshewana South. Lots of pull thru sites or back-ins. E&s Sales is nearby. Food and fresh fruit/vegetable market. Yoderís is just down the street for good meats.

Highly recommend that you go to the RV museum and also go to a factory tour. Recommend Entegra for the tour. Close by and it's fun to see them building the big stuff

Thanks for the suggestions for RV Parks for my trip to Elkhart in June 2018. We have finalized everything and can't wait to get the Independent Suspension and Disc Brakes installed. We plan to break out next year on some longer road trips which will include some mountain driving so I hope the disc brake upgrade & IS will be worth the dollars spent.
