Looking for a CG near Erie Pa. Prefer on the lake with full Hook-ups. Does anyone have a suggestion. Looking to go in October.
Thanks
Miles

This past August we stayed at Hills Family Campground in Fairview PA (just South of Presque Isle a couple miles). Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it for several reasons: unlevel sites, some dropouts in pedestal voltage, no kids playground, no dump station, dusty roads, etc.

Miles-
A Pond Piggie checking in. I'm sure Ed knows best since he's from there. Nearby: Virginia's Beach. It's about half an hour SW of Erie & they've got both lake view & lake front full h/u sites. www.virginiasbeach.com. Search the forums for previous posts on this one. I think it didn't get good reviews, though.
Sara's Beachcomer might be another possibility, although they don't take reservations or credit cards. But in October, I'm sure you wouldn't have a problem getting a decent site. www.sarascampground.com

There is great need for a sarcasm font.
