We visited friends in Long Pine Key campground and then in the Flamingo visitor center in the Homestead side of the Everglades area.

There was OK Verizon service.

It was late December and Long Pine Key was booked full but Flamingo seemed to have some non electric spots. Sites with power were full.

Long Pine Key is non electric only, but 40 miles closer to civilization.
