Fall colors in Wisconsin

Came up to Willow River State park at Hudson WI.to look at the fall colors but I guess I came a little late. The ride from home to here was nice with a lot of pretty colors but here gone, all on the ground. The wind blew like crazy yesterday and I can see by the way it blew why the leaves are on the ground. Oh well as we all say a bad day camping is still better than the best day at work ( for those of us that still have to )

Colors were beautiful here in CO last week. Turned cold this week so we didn't venture outdoors. Glad we caught it when we did.

Wow had a great time by mistake. I was riding around with DW doing the things that she wanted to do when I said I'm just going to take the bridge to Stillwater MN. and we'll come back, well as it turned out Pumk'in fest was going on and we found out that they were giving a nook and cranny tour of the old historical courthouse. We also found out that they were going to have a similar tour at the Basilica in Minneapolis on Sunday. Sooo we headed out on Sunday and went to church at the Cathedral in Saint Paul, If you have never been there it is unbelievable. I have been in a lot of churches across the USA and this is by far the largest, it's not as gigantic as the churches in Europe but it is a dandy, and beautiful inside and out. Then on to the Basilica and it was not as big but just as breathtaking as the Cathedral. Just thought I would pass this on just in case it would be of interest to anyone, we had a great time as we like this kind of stuff.
