Fortuna De Oro RV Park in Yuma, Arizona has a real problem with customer service. This is a very large clean park (1294 spaces), but is not set up to accept credit cards. This is the least of your worries. If you should decide to stay here, DO NOT use their laundry facilities. After a day of rain, they had flooding and electrical outages in the lower part of the park. This was regrettable and everyone was happy to make accommodations. We were in the upper area of the park as was a large laundry room. This area did not appear to have an electrical problem. I had just started three loads when the power went out. A man from the park came in and insisted we remove our clothes from the machines, "immediately", from the building because it was going to be locked until they could get the power back on. There was no electrical danger, he just wanted us out so he could leave. I would have been happy to leave the clothes until the power came back on, even if it was a day or two. He refused the offer and because I was quite a distance from the RV, I could not get plastic bags for transport. I was forced to put soaking wet clothes in my car (what a mess) and go to a laundry out side of the park. The man told us to go to the office for a refund. When I did that they could not give us our money back and requested A form to be filled out. Two days later we were told we would get no refund because there were "signs all over" stating they were not responsible. Two days prior to this fiasco, two driers did not heat and the money was lost. I did not request a refund, but this case was different. It would have been so easy to just refund the money, and maintain a good customer
relationship. We have be RV'ing for 15 years and stayed in many parks. This park is unwilling to make even the most basic accommodations for good chstomer service.
