Finger Lakes and Catskills

Our travels this summer are taking us to the Finger Lakes and Catskills in New York; having a hard time finding decent campgrounds for our '43.

Fingerlakes, Letchworth state park loop 700, great park!
Samson state park multiple loops
Use 40 foot when searching Reserve America, most of the NY parks show only 40 but will hold more. Electric only with water every so often. No sewer
Filmore Glenn is nice but the bridge is only rated at 9 tons in the park and the other way is thru a dip that our 36 Beaver would drag the hitch.

It was real close to Letchworth SP which is great.

I would suggest stopping at Watkins Glen, NY. There is KOA in the village that I understand was remodeled. In Watkins Glen there is a beautiful state park that you can walk up the gorge. The NASCAR race track in located out side of the village. There are many fine wineries along Seneca Lake. Enjoy your trip.

Great stop. I agree. However they have a city CG (Clute Memorial)which is a 2 block walk into town.We stayed there for a week in 2011. Also Watkins Glen SP is a great place to visit while there.
