Finger Lakes Area

Looking for campground recommendations for a seasonal stay in the Finger Lakes area. In particular I'd be interested in reviews of Aspen Campground in Candor NY. From Google searching I've seen mixed reviews, most say the place is wonderful, very quiet, large sites; others mention detractions such as spotty cell service, very rustic. There is a small lake and a pool, but otherwise I suspect they have no kids areas, etc. Any reviews would be appreciated.

Seneca Lake Resorts (SLR) operates 2 marinas, cabins and long term (15 days to seasonal) FHU RV sites on Seneca Lake. FHU CG Is within Sampson State Park and has very quickly become popular. Last I heard there was a waiting list but they are working on expansion areas to keep up with demand. They will likely not be inexpensive but I have had conversations with seasonal site holders and they looked all over the Finger Lakes area before deciding on Seneca Lake Resorts.
This year they added free live music every Fri night. They also put on one of the best July 5th fireworks shows I've seen

We have had a boat in the Sampson marina for 32 years and SLR is the best thing to happen to Sampson SP since it was opened >50 yes ago.

Wineries, breweries, restaurants etc all close by. Watkins Glen & Ithaca about 30 min and Corning Museum of Glass and other museums about 60 min.
