Fishing Holes in South Florida
Does anyone know of a good campground that has fishing and allows you to keep what you catch in the S. Florida area?

Sebastian Beach State Park has campground on water at the inlet...lots of fishing. And just a very short distance north is Long Point Park Campground that you can launch a canoe/kayak/boat and fish away. Also Jetty Park in Port Canaveral...
Just a few I know of in Brevard county and Indian River county...I'm sure theres lots more.
Enjoy your travels.

How south are you thinking? Anything from Palm Beach County down is considered S FL. Aside from Lake Okeechobee, I wouldn't consider keeping anything caught in freshwater down there. Ocean, pier and inlet fishing is different. Lots of half day charters (cattle boats) fish good snapper holes just off shore. Whichever you choose, salt or fresh, you'll need a fishing license.
Tight lines!

I have no issue with fish from Lake Istokpoga. Trails End Fishing Resort

Didn't realize there is an official designation of where south Florida begins. It's far enough south for me.

Yeah, Palm Beach County, Broward County and ugh, Miami-Dade are considered South FL. The left coast is considered SouthWest FL. I lived in South FL for 18 years and happy to get out. Now the Keys, that's a different story. I'd live there in a heartbeat if I could.

Probably why I was confused. Knew Big O was divided by a 1/2 dozen counties. Did not know one of them is Broward.
It's all still south to me. It's a couple hundred miles from here on the ONF.
