Monument Valley and Lake Powell is a nice day trip if you have a car.

If you are heading northeast from Flagstaff, Mesa Verde NP is very interesting.

We stayed at the KOA. It was Ok. Within one hourish of Flagstaff, Grand Canyon south rim, Meteor Crater, Winslow standing on a corner, Sedona. You can also drive to Williams, and get the train to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. A couple hours you can go to Page and see the slot canyons, Glen Canyon Dam, Horseshoe corner, Lake Powell. Phoenix is also around two hours, if you are into big city things.

Bonito is a beautiful campground. We always stayed there when passing through. No hookups.

Definitely do the Sunset Crater loop drive... enter on 89, make the loop and exit farther north on 89.

Walnut Canyon

Grand Canyon - a long day trip.... best to stay in the park itself

If you need hookups then J&H is the best one.
