Florida?

Planning a month or so in November. Kennedy Space Centre for sure, thinking a week in the Keys, probably at Bluewater, then a week or 2 at or near Naples. How difficult are the decent parks to get booked into? Any advice for a fairly experienced rv'er but have not had the pleasure of rv'ing in FL.

November in Florida at destination locations? You need to start booking now, and now may be too late for some parks. In the middle of the state it's somewhat easier to find sites with shorter notice, but parks near destinations or either coast fill up fast. Many people make reservations for next year as they check out of the park this year.

Keys? Maybe too late. Closer to Key West the faster the fill up is.

Thanks guys! I have found a couple spots for my dates, one in KW and one near Naples. Would like to be near Miami for a week or so and haven't found anything yet, any ideas? How do you deal with the toll roads there? I've driven plenty in rental cars in FL and know that you need a Sun Pass or equivalent. Same for big coach?

November is the beginning of Snowbird season, but many don't come until after Thanksgiving. So usually not too bad. Prime season is January, February & March. The exodus starts in April and by May, everything is empty.

Might try https://www.miamidade.gov/parks/larry-penny.asp for your Miami stay.

Get an EZ-Pass Plus for toll roads. Works in almost every state.

Can't help with Miami. For us it's a pass-by. Maybe you might like a bit further north on the east coast (Ft Lauderdale, Jupiter, Ft Pierce????). It looks like you like high end resorts but there is always Johnathan Dickinson State Park near Jupiter.

For Kennedy Space Center - The Great Outdoors is the best place around. Call now! And/or check their bi-weekly newsletter for lots rented by owners - it's here.

EZ Pass + is used for parking at airports. EZ Pass is for toll roads mostly in the east but also compatible with the toll roads in IN and IL. (the IL and IN toll transponders are also compatible in the EZ Pass states).

you can purchase the IL, IN and EZ Pass transponders from any supplier regardless of where you live. some states charge fees.
