Heading to Destin Fla. in a week or so. Does anyone have any information as to any damage from the hurricane?

I would stay away and let the folk clean up. I think most of the gulf coast this winter is going to be closed. Have you even checked with the campground where you are planning on staying?

You need a desktop or laptop to view this best. It is an interactive map of aerial views made after the Sally went thru. You can zoom in and out using the mouse thumbwheel

I'm thinking a lot of folks are going to find they have worthless reservations along the FL panhandle and Gulf Shores. Hopefully the parks can recover before snow bird season.

Parks E of Destin are mostly good, Some West of Hulburt AFB are touch and go. Couple of them are just opening, Gulf Breeze W not so good.
