Florida RV Resorts - help me decide!

Geez, I took a search for RV resorts in South Florida and it was overwhelming the number of choices. So I'm coming here for some direction.

What I'm looking for:

I have a small fifth wheel. To appreciate what a small fifth wheel looks like here it is.

It's my mobile hotel. I don't think I could deal with the limited space for a month or more. Just me, no wife, no pets.

Question - I would like to experiment staying in South Florida for maybe a month next year. So thinking of renting some kind of park model or whatever snowbirders rent short term. Prefer Jan 2026, but am flexible to some extent.

I want to bring my boat. So golfing, lifting weights and bass fishing would be my primary activities. Don't care for most for the social activities I see in most of the RV park websites. Maybe throw in some pickleball.

Would like to stay under $3k/mo.

Any direction or specific park advise is appreciated.

Find an area you want to stay in and start calling parks you like.

For golfing and bass fishing, I would actually be thinking about central florida. Something along the I4 corridor. South of there (Sebring, Lake Wales) if you want to save some money, north of there (west side of Orlando to Ocala area) if you want to spend it.

May be a bit late to find a place but basically you want to call places that look good to ya, be nice and ask em to look at the bulletin board and see who is looking for tenants. Some places advertise rentals on the resort's web site

Since you don't want to stay in your RV why not just drive your truck and fishing boat down and get a motel room? If you stay in a RV park and then rent a Park Model you'll need a place to store your boat and RV. The boat could probably be stored on the motel's property.

Sounds like the easiest solution may be to getting a bigger RV to solve your problem.

Or... just stay in your present RV. I know we could do it in that size. If in Florida you'll be sitting outside a lot anyway or doing things outside. It's not like you'll be cooped up in a small RV. Regardless, the link you showed is a very nice RV.
