Florida Snowbirding with Sewing/Quilting

I'm starting to plan our Florida winter (3 months) and looking for suggestions on RV resorts in the Fort Myers, Naples area.

One activity I'd like to find for my wife is a resort the has sewing/quilt. The resorts I've found so far are in the $1500 - $1900 a month range, very nice but without any sewing activity.

Any and all help appreciated...

No specific recommendation for a campground, but I would recommend looking at the towns where the resorts are and then checking for a quilting guild in the community instead of just the park. Quilting guilds come in a wide variety of styles; some are welcoming and some definitely are not. Looking in the surrounding community will give more options and increase the chance she finds one she likes.

Hi denny2w,
Google "quilting ft myers florida" There will be places you can contact to narrow the choice of where your wife would like to try and attend. As far as I know, there is nothing specific in any of the CGs. However, if your wife would like to start and lead a group, I'm sure the snowbird ladies would flock to the sessions.

I vaguely recall a quilting club at Ramblers Rest in Venice, but that's a bit north of your preferred destination.

We stay at Quail Run RV Resort, in Wesley Chapel. They do have a quilting Group here, that meets once a week. Large group of the ladies are into it. This resort is further north of where your looking and right off 75 at exit 279. I think you will also find it a little less then the area your looking at.
