Florida State Park Camping Pass

A few years ago I heard about a pass for State Park camping in Florida available for non-Florida residents. I now find myself needing to spend most of October between Miami and Orlando. Anyone know about this pass or have other suggestions. Thanks in advance.

As far as I know, 2 weeks is the max stay in FL. state parks.

They sell an access pass but not for camping.

Look for some county parks, some have long term camping.

Park Pass

I'm not aware of a park camping pass for Florida State parks....and we spend a lot of time in Florida State Parks. I have an entrance pass for disabled vets, but that doesn't apply to camping, just the park entrance fee.

I am a Florida resident.

The Park Pass is for free entrance into State parks for the driver and discount for passengers. It doesn't off any discounts to campground fees.

To get a discount, you need to be a resident AND over 55, disabled, foster parents or in the military. Florida CGa limits you to 2 weeks. They can grant extensions, if its not a busy CG, but that's up to the local Ranger.

Use the App, " RV Parky " and find county parks for longer then 2 week stays.

Brevard County has a few reasonable prices parks with monthly rates.
