Fort Sherman

Hello folks.
We are looking for a decent campground in Fork Sherman near Sisters Oregon.
We are in a 39 DP.
Anyone have any experience in this area?

Right in "Camp" Sherman there are 2 commercial CGs that are pretty nice. Used to be a small CG right at the store on the river, don't know if it still operates, or if you could fit in. There also 6 or more Nat Forest CGs north along the river, which may or may not fit your rig. They would be "dry" camping, no hookups.

Go to Campground Reviews and you should find a lot of info on most of the CGs in the area. Also go to the Deschutes NF site for info on the forest sites.

Bend Sisters Garden RV Resort is a nice place. I do not know where Fork Sherman is that you speak of.

If you want to stay near camp Sherman, Cold Springs is a grass area with water & 30amp elec, no showers but being close to the river is fantastic. Camp Sherman RV & motel is ok, spaces are not very wide, for the price it's good. You will want to make reservations early. Camp Sherman is a beautiful area, trail that follows the river, nice drive to wizard falls, more trails to walk and fly fish. The store has a small deli & coffee shop and fishing info. There is also a nice restaurant (Hola).
To us this is a must see area in central Oregon. Google Camp Sherman
