Looking for information on this camp ground. Looks nice in the book and on the web. Has anyone stayed there. We are looking to stay in that area for 2 months this winter.

I have had one person tell me about this place. I guess no one stays here. Maybe we will be all alone in the camp ground. It might be out of business by the time we get there.

WE have stayed there 4-5 times and always found it very nice. The staff is polite and the facility is well maintained. The last time we were there was Feb. 2005 while on our way back from Sarasota.

We have stayed at Fort Summitt, I believe three times and no complaints. Clean and well run.

We have also stayed there. They run a shuttle to Disney but it leaves to come back before the fireworks. Last year the hwy getting into FS was torn up but should be finished by now.

US27 and I-4 intersection are still, and probably always will be, under construction ... the entry to FS is somewhat covered so just keep your eye out .... btw, it is a nice campground ....
