Hi Faye;
We like the 500 loop the best, even though it's a premium loop and is a little more expensive then preferred. We try to get a spot on the outside rather the inside pads. The outside ones tend to be a little longer and many of them have lots of room behind the actual site. We were in site 528 last week and it had lots of room, the back was near a canal and I could position my rig so the dish was able to pick up Directv.
The 500 loop has a bus stop right at its entrance as do most other loops and is close to the Settlement and the boats to the M. Kingdom. We always bring our bike and I take my bike and our two mugs down to the restaurant and get free coffee and hot chocolate every morning and free sodas any other time. We bring our dog and the dog park is right across the street from the loop, so its real easy for the pup to get his exercise and do his business.
So, the best spots are on the outside of the loop, away from the main road and near the canal. I must say however, that the other loops have great spots as well. We liked our spot in the 400 loop last year and the 600 loop was recently renovated and it has really nice, open waterfront sites. Very hard to get! When you check in, ask the cast member checking you in to see the map for any of the loops that have openings. This will help you make a decision. Good luck and enjoy.
Bob
