We visited Frankenmuth in May and stayed here:www.PineRidgeRV.com--Pine Ridge RV Camping in Birch Run, MI
10 minutes from Fm, shopping, food, and fuel nearby. Verizon internet and phone works good. We ask for and got a satellite friendly site. There are some trees to negotiate but no problem with 37' 5th wheel and long pickup.

Depends. If you have kids with you, stay at the higher priced Jellystone that's located behind Bronner's. If you don't have kids & prefer quiet, stay at Pine Ridge as Lee C suggested. We were at Pine Run just a few weeks ago. Even for a Saturday, the campground was only about 1/3 full. See pictures from my albums.

Just stayed at the Pine Ridge campground. Very nice, nothing for the kids (we don't have any) but a very quiet park. It was maybe 20% occupied. We would stay here again.

There is a small campground operated by a local church ( St Lorenz??) and its in the north section of the town near the water tower. Its very reasonable and it was fine for our stay. The previous visit there we stayed at the Yogi Bear.
