From Houston to Baltimore - I-55N, I-59N, or I-65N from I-10?

Good morning everyone!

This week we'll be driving from Houston to Baltimore in our new (for me) 40' diesel pusher.

We'd like to check out Skyline Drive around the Shenandoah Valley at one point, but other than that, we're not really married to any major tourist stuff. I'm more interested in fuel efficiency and the easiest driving where I can set cruise the most (with the exception of Skyline Drive).

We had thought about Houston to Baton Rouge, to Nashville, to Memphis and home to Baltimore. But again, not married to any particular route. Just looking for options, suggestions.

Also- good overnight spots along our route would be awesome info!

Thanks!

If you want to see memphis and nashville, take 59/69 up through Texarkana from Houston, The road is MUCH nicer than 10 through to LA

The more direct route is 10 to 12/10 59 through birmingham and up from there.

I've done both routes, only about a 50 miles difference between the two, and I would prefer the texarkana route personally.
