The DW and I have had a blast. Its awesome. All the places we have been to have room for our rig and trailer. The management and owners have been nice. They let us walk the course after hours. We usually hit the ball in the morning of the next day.

The only issue we have had is some employees don't recognize the RV Golf club name and if the contact person isn't there, we have to call back a second time. They have all honored the discounts agreed to on the website.

Golf and your RV

I'm heading to Parker Dam, CA near Lake Havasu City in December. I'll be staying at the River Lodge Resort. It has a 9 hole golf right in the park. It's free to use for residents of the park (no green fees). Just bring your own clubs and balls and golf in 70 degree weather all winter.

We stayed there before and after the Perry Ga FMCA Rally.

I forgot to mention that we stayed in a city owned RV park in Llano, Tx. It looks as if it was built on what used to be the parking lot for the golf course. They moved the clubhouse and the old clubhouse is now the police station. Now you just have a short drive to the clubhouse for a very reasonably priced round of golf.

Golf and your RV

River Lodge Resort in Parker Dam, CA is actually one of the cheaper RV parks in the Lake Havasu area. The 9 hole golf course is premio and like I said the course is free to use for residents of the park. They have a snowbird clubhouse, restaurant and it's right there by the Colorado river. So if you like to fish and golf you can do both. Plus you are right across the river from Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Haven't stayed there, but we did a bus tour through the area and I remember seeing the park.

We happened to stop at Hart Ranch outside Rapid City SD. They have a full golf course and several other amenities. This is truly an RV Resort for $30 a night. I am pretty amazed, we're here now on our way to Yellowstone and can't beleve we stumbled on this place. I highly recommend it.
