Got a good laugh

We'll be staying in the Durango CO area next week, and was looking for RV parks.
One I looked at listed in their amenities...

4 minutes from Walmart.... LOL

While handy, not sure if that ranks as an amenity...

Happy Trails

LOL... sounds good to me!! We stayed at Priest Gulch campground north of Cortez a few years ago; it was about 35 miles down the mountain to Walmart!! (Or to most anything else.) Beautiful campground, though.

Check the Wal-Mart. Maybe they list the pool, etc. at the campground as their amenities.

Many sites list things like that on their web sites. Pretty funny to me as I would never pick a campground based on proximity to a Wal-Mart.

That would definitely be an amenity for us! We're always needing to go to WalMart to pick up something!

Just means , you don't have to get out of your PJs or shave to do your shopping .

EDIT: Or pay campground prices for your milk or beer.

Got a good laugh

We were in Durango in August and stayed at Alpen Rose, just north of town. Very nice campground, but poor cell service if that is a need. Wi-Fi works up by the office.

Sounds like that campground knows they now have to compete with the Walmart campers.
