If the above is full, there is another one right outside the south entrance to the park in Tusayan. Have stayed in both either one works ok for us. At least in season bus also goes to Tusayan with a stop at the campground entrance.

Staying in Williams is also an option if you cant book in the Trailer Village. Also, I have stayed at the North rim at Kaibab Camper Village in our 40foot MH. Full Hook ups.

Best to give them a call for accurate information. I just tried plugging in July 2020 and got "no reservations available" meaning, to me, that they aren't accepting them yet.

Well the video said $51.00 or you could stay in Williams for $50.00 and drive an hour each way. I don't know where you have stayed but $66.00 for a nice full hookup spot in the National park is pretty good.

............not to mention the traffic getting in/out of the park. You can just sit back and relax and have a cold one while everyone else is leaving.
Seriously, if you really want to experience the Grand Canyon, stay at Trailer Village. Otherwise you will just get a small taste of it.

I definitely like the convenience of catching the shuttle bus at the campground and going places you can't drive your POV.

No they're quite different. Trailer Village is the place to go. You can walk to the Rim of the Canyon. That's how close you are.
