We're planning a trip from Toronto, around north side of Lake Superior and back thorugh Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, etc. Any ideas for good camp grounds?

Here are some ...

There is a fantastic city run campground (RV Park) right on the shore of Lake Superior in Two Harbors, MN ... it was full so we did not stay there ...

There is a city park (30 amp as I recall) in Washburn, WI overlooking Chequemenon Bay ...

There is a city park in Munising, MI ... nice campsites ... not far from where you catch the boat rides for the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore tour ...

We stayed at a really nice RV park at the very north end of the Mackinac Bridge ... I can't remember whether it was private, city park or state park ...

Don't forget to tour the locks in Saul St Marie ... and tour the maritime museum in Duluth ... they show you all the parts of a retired ore carrier ...

If visiting Duluth, DO try Lakehead Boat Basin (call 218 722 1757 or see Trailer Life directory). Wonderful location in the VERY center of it all, right next to the famous aerial lift bridge, great up close ship traffic viewing, simply walk to from rig over bridge to main visitor activity area around ship canal. Do call ahead though. Steve & Lynette

Iowa

there is a fantastic campground at Pike's Peak State Park in north east Iowa ... it is on a bluff about 300 feet above the Mississippi river ...

It is one of our favorite spots ... your 32' will fit in many of the spots ...

30 amp electric as I recall ..
