We are thinking of going here for 10 days in late April. Any comments on this park would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there neighbor,
We went there a couple of years ago and had a great time. It's a big park, very spread out, with plenty to do in and around Kerrville.
I would also like to invite you to our little group, the Boomers. You can scroll down to the South Central region where you will find lots of information on the Boomers, including the Houston area group.
Hope to hear more from you soon,

Although we haven't been in a year or two, Guadalupe River was at one time a premier park. The last time or two we were there, it seemed to have slipped a bit as they were building a new section emphasizing park models.
Another excellent park in Kerrville is Buckhorn Lake RV Resort.
I would reiterate Jay's invitation to check out the Texas Boomers and join us for a future rally. We'd love to meet you.

Bob...and Bob....( ), you're most welcome. That's a beautiful time of year in the Texas Hill Country - be sure to go down to the Lost Maples area, which is a nice day trip from Kerrville. Just don't go any distance down TX16 south of Kerrville in the RV!

I'm looking to have a Howard Precision Center Steer install done in San Antonio,so I'll most likely extend after the rally I'm attending...
Might even come earlier and have it done and then go to Kerrville.
Iron Horse RV on Randolph Blvd. in San Antonio is where the install is done.

Tom,
Click on the link in my signature. We're a bunch of iRV2'ers here in Texas who get together regularly. You can also read our exploits here on iRV2 down under the South Central Region forum in the Regional Chapters, Campouts and Rallies section.
