I have googled (map) several of these sites. Looking at the satellite view, my concern is that they seem to be mostly in fields. I am wary of parking a 50K pound DP coach in a field and then have it rain, or be soft soil. Also, they are too far from the main road to be covered by towing insurance.

I think you will find the sites are HEAVILY used by large coaches. Have never heard of a problem. Many are in parking lots and the ones in a field are usually very compacted.

The ones on my planned trips were those that I checked. None matched the descriptions you show. But thanks for the input.
