Has anyone camped in Louisiana since Pandemic

Wife and I are looking to take a trip before winter and New Orleans has come up. Has anyone camped there lately and is it advisable?

Here's a good site for all the states. Looks like Louisiana might be doing a little better than Georgia, if that's where you are.

Cases have decreased this week from last and deaths are flat.. meaning no change.

You are kidding right? New Orleans is known for letting the good times roll. Last year when I went to New Orleans I only had only drink on Bourbon Street.

This year I was in Shreveport when after the international drunken orgie called Madi Gras resulted in the rapid spread of covid-19, the governor degreed that you could not go to church but the drive thru daiquiri stores were deemed 'essential'.

I think NO is a great destination but not if you are worried about covid-19.

Better check and see where the hurricane came ashore and what is the damage?
Aside from the Covid 19 this could cause some issues with what is available for use.

With the hurricane, New Orleans may not be a choice. Better check after the storm.

It's against the law to go to New Orleans and not eat a Muffuletta from:
