So far I have yet to get information off the forum as everywhere I look I see everyone using online sources. We have an old Garmin GPS that has served us well. Linda has a "Tablet" and downloads her reading material on it. Are there any of these books we buy and download too this Tablet? Any suggestions on what book/s would be appreciated.
Thanks

Are you full-timing? If not, do you not have internet at home? Make your reservations before you head out so you don't have to concern yourself about finding somewhere to stay as the sun fades behind the trees.

We use Verizon as it provides the best nationwide, and remote area coverage of any of the carriers today. Since will will pay bills while traveling, we increase the data pan to 4 or 5 GB / month and use one of the cellphones for a hotspot. My wife uses android and I use iPhone, so makes no real difference which you choose. Once home, we drop the plan back to the regular data rate. Apps that we use for campgrounds are : RVParky, Park Advisor, and KOA. Other apps we use are GASBuddy (for finding diesel stations if odd interstates), and Trucker Path for fuel prices, routes, info, etc. Lots of free stuff out there, they just use wifi, or daat plans. If you are in a location that has wifi, use that for planning as that will not chew up your data plan as much. Hope this gives you some ideas.

I use the Good Sam app on my phone. I can put it into map view and see the locations of the RV parks in the area we want to camp. I can review the various parks, see the specs, and decide which one we want. I can then use the app to call the park and reserve a space for the night. It's quick and easy to use. My service is Verizon and I have to find a place we didn't have service. If you must have a book, stop by Camping World and buy theirs. And pick up a magnifying glass to read the small print. Buy two books and they can double as dumb-bells for a morning work out.

We have used e-pay for 25 years with no problems. 99% of our bills are automated. One less thing to worry about on the road.
Both our phones can be hot spots, one on ATT and the other on Verizon and we have an ATT Mobley as our primary internet, unlimited.

We use the Good Sams campground book, Passport America and KOA.
We use our cell phones hot spot feature and always have good internet except if we are in the mountains. It's much faster than campground wifi too. We have AT & T and have unlimited data plan.

Thanks again for your input. I picked up a 2018 Good Sam book off ebay, a Rand McNally road atlas and Linda came up with the money to buy a "hot spot." So with your advice and what we have since picked up we at least have a chance of an enjoyable vacation.
