Hello,

My wife and I have a camper and are thinking on taking a 9 day trip some where in the north east in the middle of September. Last year we went to Shenandoah, took day hikes around the northern half and loved it. This year we are considering Adirondack, but don't know any body who has been there. It is a big place and can't see it all in a week.

We like short to medium hikes, not too hard, water falls, quiet campgrounds, cooking over the fire, and good restaurants (American, Mexican, Italian, Chinese).

Would any body be able to tell us some of the best areas, share their experiences in this part of the country? Are the Adirondack area worth our limited vacation time (not retired, probably will never be retired)?

Thank you for any information you wish to share,
Mark
