Heart O' The Ozarks Campground, Flippin, AR

Anyone stayed at
Heart O' The Ozarks Campground,

Flippin, Arkansas lately. RVParkReviews has one review and it is two years old. I will be in the area of Flippin in a couple of weeks and looking for a place.

30ft MH with toad. 4 dogs.

Thanks for the help.

Smile Bull Shoals State Park

Why not consider Bull Shoals state park. It is pretty close to Flippin.

I have considered Bull Shoals SP. I think I even get a senior discount. But Bull Shoals does not have full hookup and DW prefers full hookup. We will be in the area for a week or more so will most likely visit multiple parks. Still want to try Branson, at the least a day trip. Thanks for the suggestion.

We just returned yesterday from a week's stay at Bull Shoals White River State Park, they do have a limited number of full hookups, probably about a quarter of the sites are full hook up now. Weather was nice, fishing was good. Not to brag, but I skunked the DH on the fish. One of the nicer campgrounds we've been to.

Certainly work a look. Tell me about the fishing. I was thinking about getting a non-resident license for my stay there. What did you catch?

White River State park just below the dam has many full hook-up sites and is one of the best places to camp in North America. If you stay elsewhere you will regret it!

It's just a few miles from Flippin.

Will be one of my look ats for sure. Do you know if they have a senior discount? I looked on their website and did not see a discount listed?

Thanks. Will be looking early next week. We should be pulling out of central Texas Saturday morning, 9/21. If the weather is OK. I checked forecast this morning and as I predicted, Saturday morning winds 12mph NNE. Guess what direction we will be traveling Saturday. I could sell my amazing ability to generate wind to the wind farms throughout this country. If they have a wind lull, just hire me to drive MH thru and I can almost guarantee a strong headwind. Happy trails y'all.

I have been checking random dates to see what is available with full hookups, but I have not found any.

Last night and tonight we are at Denton Ferry RV Park, Cotter, AR. Looking tonight at the maps and brochures to see where we go next. Have to be back to central Texas in a week. Tomorrow morning going over to Mountain Home to look around. Still want to at least make a day trip to Branson, MO. But this is a vacation, so we will just let it flow.
