I have reservation made many months ago for Oceanside RV RESORT in Oceanside ca. Trying to find out why no one answers phone and Web site is not working to check on reservations. Hate to drive all the way to California and have no place to stay. Does anyone know anything or (big favor here) if you live in the San Diego area how about checking it out for me?

Well I didn't call but the Web Site is working.

Sorry I didn’t state my ? properly. The web site is on line but if you click the make reservation link, nothing happens. IF you call the phone picks up and says “this is a unused extension” then goes dead.

Call Paradise by the Sea. They are across the street. They would know. It is a better place to stay so try and book there.

Saw this on Yelp:
"Yelpers report this location has closed."

But there was a review for it in May.

I did that and a very nice man answered and said he hasn’t heard anything and as far as she knows they are still open. Of course they are completely booked for this summer. Next year I will stop being so cheap and book there for as much of the summer as they let me stay.

SoCal is tough in the Summer. Pretty much all weekends will be booked. Sun Resorts’ park in Chula Vista is pretty nice but costly.(most near the water are). Santee Lakes East of San Diego is nice, but a bit warm during the day. Let me know if you need info on other places to stay South of Orange County.
