We have been there, great place. Haven't been there since the hurricane a few years ago, but looks like they remodeled the place. Water front sites have a good view. Since you get to pick your site out, you will have alot of good choices.

We stayed there years ago when it was an Outdoor Resort and loved it. When we go back to Hilton Head we will stay there again.

There are Two - One on the Intercoastal which accepts 5th wheels - and one closer to the Beach for Class A Motorhomes only - Both a first rate and September October are great times to be there - as are - February and March.
The Waterfront lot on the Intercoastal are clear views.
The picture in my signature is on the lake of the Motorcoach Resort.

Hi outbackmac,
September will be hot and peak hurricane season. Consider making your stay for October.

We loved Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort so much we purchased a lot! If you would like to see the complete resort go to You Tube to view several “rides” around the park. The water pads are on an inlet and overlook a marina. Most of them have decks close to the water. You cannot reserve any lots. When you arrive you are given a golf cart to find a space you like and it is first come first served.
Last visited we went on a water tour in a 2 person catamaran...highly recommend it. Also be sure to go to the restaurant overlooking the water. The sunsets are amazing..... Absolutely love the resort!

We don't own a lot but stayed there Fall 17. Agree with 36PFT about the restaurant et al. There are a lot of trees but we were able to get satellite reception. Enjoy!

Nice park can rent boats or jet skis atleast in summer not sure about winter. Getting in and out from main road can be a hassle sometimes. All sites can be reserved but you cant pick exact site you want till you get there. HH motorcoach resort is nicer , picked best resort in SC by some.

We spent a week at HH Motorcoach Resort in the Spring of ‘18 and a week at HH Harbor November ‘18. You will not go wrong with either. Both very nice. HH Motorcoach is gated but we did like touring HH Harbor on a golf cart and choosing a site. Then again we were not reserving at either place during the peak season. We would not hesitate booking either one again. The “South Carolina Low Country” is a favorite destination of ours.

HH Harbor RV Resort is great. Many options, jet ski rental, fishing & boat rides on site. Get a golf cart upon arrival & pick your spot. HH Motorcoach Resort is very dark at night.
