I want Feb in Florida with a casita
My wife and I want to rent a campsite in Florida for the month of February. We would prefer one that has a casita to set up as a work area. I don’t know where or how to begin looking for such a thing. I have a Newmar Baystar Sport. Can anyone direct me on how to search?

I would think the owners might not want the casita open to visitors. I don't know.... guess you need to Google for Florida RV lots with casitas and see what park have them. Then go to the park's site to check for rentals. By 'work area' do you mean woodworking? Good luck!

You are looking to rent in a park where the sites are individually owned. Try Florida Grande, River Bend, Mt. Olive Shores, Aztec, Great Outdoors, Bluewater Key, or similar parks. February is the busiest month for FL rentals and most will already have been booked, but there are often cancellations so you could try. Also realize that in ownership parks, lots get sold and the new owners do not always honor the existing rental agreements.

Do you know of any good websites to search? I agree that I am probably looking for a place where the sites are privately owned. The reason for the casita is that my wife wants a space to set up as a work from home office. She has tons of papers scattered to support the work she does.

All the lots at Bluewater Key have tiki's and are usable by guests. Amenities in the tiki's very by owner. But everything is booked a year + in advance. If you go to the Bluewater website you can check for vacancies. People do change their plans when they've had to book over a year in advance and openings do pop up.

There are a couple of FB groups for lots for sale or rent by owner and one called upscale RV Resorts that has a spread sheet of quite a few resorts with contact information. We own a couple lots in an FL resort, but we don't have casita's on them, only small storage sheds. We also do not advertise our second lot at all, we keep it for frends and family only. But when we bought it, we were inundated with requests to rent before we even closed. The thing is, we never told anybody we were buying it as it was never listed for sale. There are no secrets in an RV resort.

Your profile lists a couple of RV's, one being a 1996. I believe that most of the places in Florida, which have Casitas, would be "upscale" and have a "10 year rule". You may want to investigate this aspect of your journey.

I’ll update my profile. I now have a 2016 Newmar Baystar Sport. It’s only 29ft long and I see that some of the most upscale resorts require it to be longer than that.

Thank you. I, also, didn't know what RV you have.
In your Profile, be sure to update your 'Signature' (bottom line under your Profile) so the correct RV shows up when you post.
You might try this one: https://www.baylakerv.com/rentals#map
Good luck finding a place!
