Ideas for sabbatical

Greetings,

I'm fortunate to have a large amount of time off this year from work and looking for some ideas on where to go.

We live in PA and own a class A with a small truck that we tow behind it. I will have off from the middle of July until the first week of October.

Here are the things we know for sure about our trip. 1.) We need to be back home for a week in late August to send daughter off to college. 2.) I will be in CO/MT the last four weeks of my time off doing some elk hunting / sight seeing. 3.) We want to visit San Antonio and spend some time in Texas. 4.) My son has requested meteor crater / grand canyon.

Other than that we are open to suggestions. We figure we will make two trips out west and back. Maybe a southern loop and a northern loop?

Looking for any and all advice on what to see, where to go and how to best plan this trip.

What part of the west coast are you coming to? WA, OR, CA? If you're in CA you should go to Yosemite.
