Just in case you don't know..... there's a great camping club that cost only $44 a year to be a member.

Something like 1600 campgrounds across the USA and I often only pay $15 a night when at one. They have rules to follow and many allow weekday reservations only at the cheaper rates.

Dateland, Az....only problem is Yuma is 60 miles west.....but haven't had any problems with cold....have a Mobley, so good internet, have satellite, so no problem there either....and, there's a well maintained pool, laundry and grounds....and FHS's...

yup. so no magic bullet at this time. some folks are placing bets on Musk's low-Earth orbit constellation of satellltes. that may take a while.

Galveston, TX is usually pretty nice; but as others have posted, you can get a 2-3 day stint of really cold weather followed by a period of really nice days. Used to live there so I know. Currently living in Waco, TX. It is a little colder in Waco than in Galveston in the winter, but in the 10 years I've been here, it only snowed once (2-3") and melted the same day. Back in 1989, in Denton, TX, a huge blue norther blew thru and dropped the temperatures to zero farenheit. Brrrr! Parents wintered in Green Valley, AZ near Tucson and loved it in February, April, May.
