Better late than never - a couple of pictures to prove it really happened!! First is the entire crew at the Buffalo Bill rodeo in North Platte Nebraska. Second is an amazing unfiltered sunset in Galesburg IL. Last two are my parents and inlaws at Game Lodge campground in Custer State Park.

That's a wrap for big trips this year. Trying to decide between London/Paris or staying in the states next summer. If we stay stateside looking at Acadia NP.

Consider adding Lead, SD. They have a working gold mine that gives tours. We went down about 1/2 mile and it was a great learning time. The girls will enjoy and so will ya'll.
Add to this the Thunderbird mine which I believe is located in Keystone (it's been a long time since we were there) where you get a tour and can pan for gold for a small price. I actually lucked out and found enough gold flakes to pay for the experience.

Being an Illinoian I strongly recommend staying away from I 80 West to Chgo as it is so rough it will really shake you up and could do some damage to the rig. My Inverter shorted out.

Also enjoy planning my trips as half the fun but seldom ever keep to all of it as I over plan and then do things on a whim.

Drive safe and enjoy - Richard
