In / Around Breckenridge, CO

Is there any place besides Tiger Run nearby Breckenridge, CO with full hookups (or even electric and water with a dump station)? All I see is in FairPlay, CO.

Everything seems to be state or local campgrounds and few if any that have electric.

Thanks.

It is pretty limited in the area. Heaton Bay has water and electric, but you have to drive towards Breckenridge to dump. Booking is also a crapshow.
Good luck!

We really enjoy Heaton Bay Nat'l forest campground. There are some with water/electric but since we're self-contained we don't need them if not available.

So far it looks like it will be Tiger Run. FairPlay, Co looks OK too but we prefer to be up closer to I-70.

We've been to Heaton Bay Campground (a CO state park) but I couldn't locate a Heaton Bay Nat'l Forest Campground. Are they the same?

Fairplay isn’t bad if you’re staying in that area for fishing, lake recreation, etc. If you want to go in and out of Breck, then you have to take Hoosier Pass between Fairplay and Breck and that can get nasty in winter conditions. You can’t go wrong with Tiger Run.

I don't find it as a state park.

ah - thanks. Yep, been there a few times. Very nice place. I was thinking State Park and should have been thinking Nat'l Forest.

So far it looks like it is going to be Tiger Run.

Tiger Run is a rv resort, expensive. Each spot is concrete and owned by someone they just rent them out. But, wow what a 5 star facility.
