If you have a military/retiree friend make the reservations, they are.

None require the sponsor to be present for you to get on base and to register. All are waterfront.

I really appreciate the info.
I just don't think I would be comfortable using one of those sites if there was any chance someone who has served for our country was turned away, or didn't get the best site available.
If I had someone with me who served, no problem!

Hmmmm. I wouldn't feel good about doing this.

There's nothing clandestine or underhanded about it. Those are the Marine Corps's and the Navy's rules. Those of us who have served can also share a few of our benefits with friends and family.

Sheesh. No need for the patriotic posturing. The rules are that servicemen and women and retirees can also share this benefit with friends and family. It's a one of a kind opportunity. You won't get in unless a sponsor has reserved the spot for you in advance. There's nothing shifty about it.

I really do appreciate that, please don't get me wrong. Now knowing that you served and are offering this information puts a much different light on it.
I truly hope you understand it was by no means posturing, it is respect.
