Sounds like we have a plan here! Counting down the days! I'll make a pot of chili.

Wish we could go with you, but we already have a campout planned with Family Campers and RVers (FCRV). This is our Halloween campout with the club. Hopefully next time you all get together we will be able to make it. We have never camped at Deep River. Has anyone camped there before? Have fun and let us know how everything went.

I hope you can too. This is the first campout together and hope to go somewhere each month. I don't think any of us have camped there before so we will let you know. In fact we all have not even met with the exception of DixieRay, we met them at the National Rally in VA. Where are you all camping?

Sorry that you can't join us in Asheboro but hope you can make it to the next get together! We have not camped at Deep River before and I'm not sure any of the others have either so it will be a new experience for all of us. We are looking forward to a great weekend with many more to follow!

SkiPat, we are camping at Denton Farm Park in Denton. It is not open to individuals, but only to groups. It is also open at special events that they hold there. We rode down to Deep River Campground yesterday just to see what it looked like. Let me know what you think. Manager seemed real friendly and told us that you were coming. Campground????

Hopefully next time we can join you all.

Has anyone ever heard of Hagan Stone Park Campground in Greensboro? I've seen other posts and no one has mentioned this campground. We camp there and it is nice, only w/e, with dump stations. You might want to think about there if you have no where else to go.

We should know tomorrow if they have found a turbo (they think they have found one in MN), we are not counting on it till it has actually been shipped. They hope to have the turbo to Gregory Poole on Monday so we are keeping our fingers crossed that we will make it...the rig may still be dirty from all that rain in Beth Page though lol.

OK---you have me wondering now with the ???? after campground! What was your opinion after looking it over? I'm sure we will have a great time! Hope you can join us on the next trip too. I have never heard of the campground in Greensboro. Hope you are enjoying your camping in Denton.

Pat

Tracy,

Will keep my fingers crossed that they get the part in and get the rig fixed in time for our trip! Looking forward to meeting you guys and to a great weekend of fellowship with new friends!

We went on a day when is was raining and dreary. There are several permanent campers there scattered through out the park. I have stayed in better and I have stayed in worse. The campground is very small, it only has 60 sites, tents, cabins included in that.. The manager seemed real nice. I'm sure you will enjoy your time with all the other campers.

They are supposed to have our part Monday (fingers, toes and everything else crossed) and if they do we should be able to be there. We will most likely go straight to the park when we pick her up and not home so might be there Wed or Thursday.

Sounds like we need some hotdogs, sausages or hamburgers to go with that Chili, baked beans and potatoe salad.

Spoke to Gregory Poole's in Mebane and they received the turbo today and are in the process of installing it, they say that it should be ready this week.

We will most likely be there Wed or Thurs as no reason to go home for a day after picking up MH and going back that way, sure you can't join us early?
