We selected this location because it had good access to the beach, and made the reservation 3 months in advance.

As always, we specified our 40' length and that we had slides on both sides, and preferred 50amp service, and a toad. We were told we would have a pull-thru with plenty of room to park our car. The photo on their website gave me a clue that we would just fit the pull-thru without room and not be able to park our car, but the owner said that was not a problem because they had a large parking area.

We were given space #13 -- a back-in space which we barely were able to get into, and it had only 30amp (which wasn't a real problem since we didn't need air conditioning). We were told that we would have to park our car in the 4 spaces at the front of the park.

Since all the parking spaces were full, I parked with part of my car on the grass next to our coach. I observed that most other sites had cars and trucks doing the same thing. Within 5 minutes, the owner was at my door "YELLING" at me that I couldn't park on the grass. I explained that I was just unloading, and there were no parking spaces, but she continued to yell at me and tell me to move my car next to the parking spaces immediately. I asked why the other cars were allowed to park similarly... but got no answer.

So, I parked next to the parking spaces and in direct line of blocking part of the driveway coming into the park... but she seemed happy with this. Pity the poor guy coming down the entrance hill and rounding the curve to find my car narrowing the already narrow road. During the 4 nights we were there, parking was an ongoing challenge.

Overall, the park is nice. Each site has a grassy area with a picnic table. The pathway to the beach is great and it is a wonderful beach for taking long walks. And a family of deer visit the park every evening.

The park is conveniently located to the restaurants in town... and to Jerry's Rogue River Jet Boats.... an experience we highly recommend. We took the 84 mile trip upriver and through the rapids... Great Fun!

They do not offer internet access and our Verizon Wireless Aircard was out of range in that area, so we had to go to a local bookstore that offered internet access so my husband could log on to his office computer. Several of the hotels had WiFi and so did the library.

This park could make 2 improvements...
.. WiFi
.. Friendly management.

I also agree with your accessment of Irelands RV park. We pulled up and left the diesel running to cool it down for a minute, and the management came out of the office and demanded we immediately turn off the engine. We also have a 40' and would not recommend this park for the larger rigs. Not sure about the attitude of the management, tried to lighten up the check in process but NOT!! Would not go back.
