Is there an internet site to locate all campgrounds?

We are in our planning and booking stages for our first several month trip in our new to us motorhome.

With state parks, national parks, county parks, BLM areas, COE, water management parks, KOA, Encore, Passport America, Good Sam, Free camping, mom and pops and probably 163 other affiliated somehow associations for campgrounds available.

Is there an internet site that lists all campgrounds by the location or area a person may want to visit?

There has to be something simpler, better and easier than what I'm doing. If there is soft or hard ware for purchase that will give me what I'm looking for. No problem.

Thank you in advance for any help and guidance.

We have used Allstays phone app since 2008, and have been very happy with it. Check it out.

Might not be what your looking for but we use an app called AllStay. It is a paid app, easy to use and updated often. It will show you all POI your looking for and more, including Wal-Marts service facilities fueling locations and LP locations. Provides info on each some reviews and link to web site if they have one. Keep iPad in coach on our cell provider just for searching sites well worth it to us.

We use it all the time when traveling and don't make to many reservations unit we get to a location for the day. We only have reserved stops for our primary place or places that fill up a lot or fast like Grand Canyon or other major points of interest.

Hope this helps.

Safe Travels to All.

In our experience there is no ONE source that will give you everything - even AllStays. We've found parks that weren't on it. We used various sources. Good luck!

google maps

when over the area of your journey or destination,
search 'rv park', or 'campground', etc...
and then the closer you zoom in the more it will show

then change to 'satellite view' to actually see the layout
of the property

No one site or app will have all. But Allstays is probably the most extensive source available.

AllStays on the Web or our Rand McNally RVND GPS...rarely lacks any.
And, Google search on the phone to double check.

Safe travels

I too have Allstays on my phone but if you want an internet site.

likely Google Maps.. One of the interesting things about Google maps is they allow "User updates" to the map datum.. I've updated 3 businesses here in the Darien/Townsend area including .... Cathead Creek RV park and Cowboy Church (now closed) They were a good half mile off on the location.

The Lions club

Waffle House

You can also post a photo of the place, or the sign out front.

This makes them the fastest updating map in town.

I have found "RV Park Reviews" and "RVtripWizard.com" to be the best for me. Planned 4 month trip using both sites.

all campgrounds? nope, but most online sites and apps will have many-to-most campgrounds and parks. we use RV Park Reviews, RV Parky, Good Sam (which does have listings for non-affiliated parks) and AllStays in that order with the first two getting the most use.
