It would be great if you waited in a general parking area. If you wait on another site and use it until your site is open you will, most likely, not be leaving the campsite in good order for the camper who paid for it that day. The workers rake the site and clean the firepits and it's nice for the person getting that site to see a perfectly cleaned up site upon arrival.

I couldn't park in someone else's site, but would park in a general parking area, which is usually available. So far I haven't needed to do that and usually get there after 2 pm and my site has always been vacant upon arrival.
